Before you start
Make sure you have installed the Streamer miniapp from the Mentra MiniApp Store inside the Mentra app on your phone.
Get your Twitch stream key
You will need your Twitch stream key to connect Mentra Live to your Twitch channel. Find your stream key in your Twitch creator dashboard or live streaming settings.
Start streaming to Twitch
- Open the Mentra app on your phone
- Launch the Streamer miniapp
- Select Twitch from the platform list
- Paste your Twitch stream key exactly as it appears — no extra spaces
- Tap Start streaming
- Wait approximately 25 seconds for the stream to initialize
- Check your Twitch dashboard to confirm you are live
Tips
- Keep your phone close to your glasses during the stream
- Test with a private stream before going public
- If you suspect your key is incorrect, regenerate it in your Twitch settings and paste the new key
Troubleshooting
- If streaming does not start after 60 seconds, restart the Streamer miniapp and check your network connection
- Verify your stream key is pasted exactly with no extra spaces at the beginning or end
- If your stream drops, improve your network strength and keep your phone closer to your glasses
