Taking a Photo
To take a photo with Mentra Live, press the action button once. You'll hear a shutter sound confirming the photo was saved.
Step by Step
- Make sure Mentra Live is powered on (press and hold the power button for 2 seconds if needed)
- Open the Mentra app on your phone to confirm the glasses are connected
- Frame your shot and hold your head still
- Press the action button once to capture the photo
- Listen for the shutter sound — this confirms your photo was saved
- Open the Mentra app and tap Library to view your photo
Tips
- Use good lighting for sharper photos
- Keep your head still at the moment of capture
- The external capture LED on the glasses signals to nearby people that you're recording — this is a privacy feature and cannot be disabled
- When recording people at close range or in private settings, ask permission
If Something Goes Wrong
If your photo doesn't appear in the Library, refresh the app and confirm your glasses are connected. If capture fails repeatedly, turn the glasses off and back on, then try again.
