Check audio and connection
Make sure audio is playing through Mentra Live speakers and that the glasses are connected to your phone in the Mentra app.
Test the touchpad
Use a clean swipe gesture across the touchpad on the left temple arm. Try swiping up, down, forward, or backward depending on the feature you're using.
Restart Mentra Live
- Press and hold the power button on the right temple arm for 2 seconds
- Release when the light turns off
- Wait a few seconds
- Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn the glasses back on
Reconnect to your phone
Open the Mentra app and confirm the glasses are connected. If not, go through pairing again and test the touchpad.
Tips
- Use clean, deliberate swipe gestures across the touchpad surface
- Very cold or wet conditions can reduce touch responsiveness
- Make sure your finger makes good contact with the touchpad area
If the touchpad never responds after trying these steps, contact Mentra support. Let them know whether the issue happens every time or only occasionally.
