Do you need the Mentra app to use Mentra Live?

Yes. The Mentra app is required for pairing, miniapps such as Livestreamer, media viewing and sharing, and voice and AI features. Without the Mentra app you can still power the glasses on and off and capture pictures and videos, but most experiences depend on the app.

Step by step

1. Install the Mentra app: get.mentraglass.com
2. Pair Mentra Live through the Mentra app
3. Use the Mentra app to download miniapps and manage media

Tips and notes

• For streaming, you must install Streamer from the Mentra MiniApp Store inside the Mentra app
• Photos and videos taken with the glasses appear in the Camera miniapp in the Mentra app
